The Enrico Caruso Museum of AmericaShowcasing the world’s largest collection of memorabilia from the world’s greatest tenor Enrico Caruso
On June 2nd Cavaliere Ufficiale Aldo Mancusi was honored with the title of Commendatore, signed by the president of Italy, which was presented at at the Italian Consulate in New York City. This is considered one of Italy’s greatest honors. Mancusi’s idol, Enrico Caruso, also had this title bestowed upon him. Italian Consul General Natalia Quintavalle, who presided over the proceedings visited the Enrico Caruso Museum with the then Borough President Marty Markowitz where they met Enrico Caruso’s Grandson Eric Murray.
Mancusi gives many lectures on opera and other musical greats in the tri-state area and has displayed his vast collection in Naples Italy, Caruso’s home town, and other venues throughout Italy.
