Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding

what is wrong, and believing in Allah. (Qur’an 3:110)

ا أ وملك�ن� أك�ثر الن�اس� ال يع�لم�ون ا و lذ�يرن وWe have not sent thee but as a

universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them

(against sin), but most men understand not. (Qur’an 34:28)

THE ART OF CONVEYING THE MESSAGE

1. Be Sincere in Dawah;– It is for the sake of Allah. Don’t spoil your

intention by bragging.

– Don’t praise yourself. Your rewards come from Allah.

2. Understand your Goals in Dawa; – Present Islam to minimize corruption in the land

hold reformation of the world as your ultimate goal.

3. Realize that the Mission is to worship Allah & the Vision is to reach JANNAH and see ALLAH.

4. Trust fully that Success comes from Allah.

5. Have the characteristics of the Mujahid;

6. Clothe yourself with the dress of the Mujahid.

7. Know that Dawa is a battlefield with Satan, shirk and kufr.

8. Seek the right knowledge to gain insight and wisdom (the most difficult thing to gain).

9. Have reasonable expectations. Don’t expect perfection as everyone has his own shortcomings.

10.Don’t despair of the mercy of Allah. Some people are always negative in their thinking.

– “This man is a hopeless case this fellow is a waste of time and efforts.” We should be positive. Issuing judgment is the final thing.

11.Foster a positive attitude. – Remember prophets and their impact

on the people.

12.Don’t belittle yourself. Do your best. Guidance is from Allah and the results are in the hands of Allah.

13.Live with the people and bear them.

14.Supplicate.

15.Balance in Dawa by combining both fear & hope.

16.Show tolerance and patience.

17.Choose the right words.

18.Act to speak louder than words.

19.Choose time and place.

20.Don’t attack specific people or generalize. – The Muslim is not indecent, and he does not have

a foul mouth.

– What is wrong with people?

– Present Islam.

21.Grab opportunities and treasures for the day of judgment.

22.Do not be frustrated from the corruption around us. “You will find few of my servants obedient.”

23.The daee should live the real life of people and be very near to them and bear their harms.

24.You need to retreat and be with yourself for a while.

25.Be gradual in Dawa. – Don’t exaggerate the sin when you talk to

people and be priority conscious.

– There is no sin greater than disbelief.

26.Substantiate and quote the right

information.

27.Show genuine feeling, care and concern by

listening attentively.

28.Be tactful, tender and gentle.

29.Respect people and their status. – Speak to individuals according to their own

mentality and status.

30.Be aware of what is happening around you.

31.Don’t project yourself by belittling others.– Some people always criticize others to raise their

status.

– Don’t point fingers.

32.Participate with people in their happy and

sad moments.

33.Appear nice.

34.Concentrate on one issue at a time. – Don’t overburden people by talking about many

subjects at the same time.

35.Hold yourself accountable while

presenting.

36.Perform more acts of worship to be closer

to Allah.– The closer you are to Allah, the more your

supplications will be accepted and you will be

accepted.
