Snow Leopards

the snow leopard is an endangered species because of illegal wildlifehunting, loss of habitat , and diminished food supply.

The snow leopard lives in 12 countries. Asia mountaintops. Their lifespan is 15-18 years. There litter size is about 2-3 kittens.

Snow leopard is not the only endangered species. There are a lot like thegiant panda, and the polar bear there are many more .if they are not helpthey be like the dodo bird.

The snow leopard s food is wild sheep, wild boar, gazelles, hares,markhor, bobak , tahr, of 20-50feet.

It is vary rare in most of their range marmots, mice, and dear. They stalktheir prey and usually spring from a distance due to the valuable for skinsan estimated 3,000-7,000 are left in the wild and about 370 in captivity.Although trade in snow leopard furs is illegal it continues threatening thesnow leopard existence.

So please help to protect the snow leopards for extension!

The Dodo Bird

The Dodo Bird was isolated

on the Island of Mauritius.

Until the year of 1598 AD

when Portuguese sailors

landed on the shores of theisland. The sailors

discovered the unknown bird

we know now as the Dodo.

Many Dodos were killed bythe sailors. The rest of the

Dodos had to face the

animals brought to the island.

The last Dodo died in the

year of 1681.

Tiger

Tigers are endangered species but they are not the only

ones. There are a lot more like the giant panda, snow

leopards , and the polar bear ect.

The tiger .is the largest of all cats , is one of the most

charismatic and evocative species on earth ; it is also one

of the most threatened. Only 6000 or so remain in the wild,

most in isolated pockets spread across increasingly

fragmented forest stretching from India to south-eastern

china and from the Russian far east to Sumatra, Indonesia.

Clone

Cloning could help the animal species

that are endangered.

It could help it by doubling the animalspopulation.

How they clone things

They get an unfertilized egg of the animalthey want cloned.

Then they get the DNA of that animal.Then they fertilized the egg then they put itin a jelly like substance for it to grow fornine months. Then they take it out and see

if all the organs are working.
