A $2,500 Grand Prize will be awarded to a winning contestant, along with a $1,000 2 nd Place Prize and $500 3 rd Place Prize. (U.S. dollars) Help promote a better understanding between people and create long lasting community change. Creatively describe in a 3-minute video how LGBT prejudices relate to events in society or your life by April 4, 2012 for your chance to win. As specific video topic suggestions, you might analyze events like marriage equality, Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA - USA), Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA - USA), Don't Ask Don't Tell (DADT - USA), homophobia, transphobia, the role of LGBT in your country’s society and politics today, or possibly address how LGBT prejudices have affected your life or those around you.
