White is no longer the required wedding dress color. Sorry,
Queen Victoria—she ditched the popular colored wedding
gown and chose to marry Prince Albert in a white lace dress in
1840—but we think it’s time for a revamp! Brides all over the
world have been getting married in an array of colors, and we
had the pleasure of watching our bride Brittney walk down the
isle in her coral wedding dress to her husband Benson.

Brittney!
Unveiled Photography Wedding is one of San
Diego's premier wedding studios that grew
out of owner Mark’s love of photography and
his strong background in commercial shoot-
ing. Unveiled has earned The Knot's "Best of
Weddings" four years running, and consist-
ently garners stellar reviews from his clients for
his photojournalistic approach and great per-
sonality. Since founding his company in
1998, Mark has photographed over 700 hap-
py couples. His favorite things to capture at
weddings are candid's and all those little de-
tails that go into making each celebration
special. We had the pleasure of working with
Mark and his wife, Stacy, on September 19th
for Cassie and Garrett’s wedding. They cap-
tured the love shared between this couple
and did it seamlessly. You can see a few of

Mohegan Sun Hotel
and Casino in 2004.
How they Met: The couple met in a place they didn't expect to ever find
love, a casino. Cassie worked in a restaurant while Garrett worked in
the bar. Both would go out of the way just so they can see each other
walk by. Out of the blue, Garrett approached Cassie and said “I just
had to come say hi to you. And ask you to take your lunch with me
sometime." As they say, the rest is history.
The Details: The best way the bride can describe her wedding is Tim
Burton, meets Disney Pixar Garden, meets Great Gatsby. The table
scape was beautiful white chiavari chairs with white tables cloths and a
black and white striped runner to add the Tim Burton pop. The flowers
were the something you would see out of a Disney Pixar movie with the
bright warm colors against the white linen. With the additions of gold
accents, a marquee on the sweetheart table, and draping all around
this include the Great Gatsby and it all tied in wonderfully for the perfect
day!
