Northwoods DREAM Monthly Snapshot November 2012 Program Happenings and Highlights

• Northwoods mentoring pairs had one DREAM Friday and one culminating event before the end of Dartmouth College’s fall term.

• Northwoods mentors are now on break until January 7, 2013. • Three mentees and one mentor attended the DREAM Teen Futures Retreat on November

3-4. Youth learned about the college admissions process, summer opportunities, and juvenile justice in Vermont.

Weekly Programming with Children

• On November 2, mentor pairs participated in one-one activities on the Dartmouth College campus. Mentees and mentors played board games and soccer, baked cookies, and did arts and crafts.

• On Saturday, November 10, Northwoods DREAMers traveled to Enfield, NH for their culminating event at Great View Roller Skating Rink. Mentoring pairs learned to roller skate, ate lunch together, and danced around the rink all afternoon. It was an energetic and very fun ending to the fall term!
