Of this there is 1,443 main line and 558 second main line. The branch line mileage is 2,671, and sidetracks 93 miles. The amount of double trackage covers 69 miles. The mileage is divided between the differ- ent railway companies as follows: Great Northern. 1,652; Northern Pacific, 1.652; Soo, 1,241; Chicago, Milwau- kee» V* Puget Sound, 263; C. M. & St. P., 163; Chicago & Northwestern 16; Farmers Grain & Supply Co., 58: Bran- don, Devils Lake & Southern, 15; Devils Lake & Chautauqua, 5; Northern D akota, 22. RAILROAD III STATE

The railroad mileage of North Dakota as shown by the records in State Audi­tor Brightbill's office, and appraised for taxation by the state board of equaliza­tion is as follows:

Total mileage, 5,336. Of this there is 1,443 main line and 558 second main line. The branch line mileage is 2,671, and sidetracks 93 miles. The amount of double trackage covers 69 miles. The mileage is divided between the differ­ent railway companies as follows: Great Northern. 1,652; Northern Pacific, 1.652; Soo, 1,241; Chicago, Milwau-kee» V* Puget Sound, 263; C. M. & St. P., 163; Chicago & Northwestern 16; Farmers Grain & Supply Co., 58: Bran­don, Devils Lake & Southern, 15; Devils Lake & Chautauqua, 5; Northern D akota, 22. On these lines the assess­ment for taxation is as follows: Great Northern, $15,823,165; Northern Pacific, $12,792, 793; Soo, $9,692,005; C. M. & P, S. $1,404,212; C. M. & St. P., $1,209,889 ; C & N W.. $98,937; Far­mers G. & S. Co., $21,870; Brandon % D. L. &CO., $52,070; D. L. & Chautau­qua, $3,338; North Dakota, $12,508. Total rail by assessment for taxation, $41,3(10,787.

Notice is hereby given that the following lands situated in the County of Stark, State of North Dakota

on which the taxes for the year 1910 remain unpaid, will be sold on Tuesday, the 12th day of December,

1911, being the second Tuesday in December,at my office in the Court House in the City of Dickinson, County,

of Stark and State of North Dakota, commencing at 10 o'clock a. m. The said lands hereinafter described

will be sold on the date above named in accordance with the provisions of section 1576 of the Revised Codes

of 1905, and as amended by chapter 196, laws of 1909, and chapter 293, laws of 1911.
