TRANSCRIPT
Imagine a school where challenging student behavior is managed early using preventive techniques that have stood the test of time. Where a competent and confident staff understand that it’s not about being strong enough to use force, it’s about being strong enough not to.
CPI’s Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training program is a safe, nonharmful behavior management system designed to help educators provide for the best Care, Welfare, Safety, and SecuritySM of confrontational, disruptive, or potentially out-of-control students.
From a raised voice to a physical assault, all levels of risk behavior—and the appropriate staff interventions—are addressed. The training gives educators a solid framework for decision making and serves as a foundation for a system-wide crisis intervention training plan. The program also supports PBIS strategies and can be fully integrated into the PBIS process.
