Uni/Fleks ringTheUni/Fleks ring is a combination of a plastic ring,consisting of plastic segments, with a thin rubbersealing (Varioseal). This rubber sealing (availableboth inEPDMandNBR) isareliablesolutionforbothwaterandgasapplications.TheUni/Fleksring isnonrestraint.

Uni/Fiks ringWhen metal grippers (Uni/Fiksers) are placed in theUni/Fleks ring, the sealing system is restraint. TheUni/Fiks ring with the Uni/Fiksers makes a restraintconnectionuptoanimpressive16barforwaterand8barforgas,bothonrigidandplasticpipes.

Progressive sealing and gripping mechanismTheplasticsegments in theringsizesDN50–DN125consist of one part, made of POM. Furthermore thedesign of the ring enables large range coverage inoutside diameters. The plastic segments in the ringsizesDN150–DN600consistof twoparts; thewedgeand the topple. The wedge is made of POM and isin contact with the pipe material. The topple, madeof polyamide, ensures the integrity of the ring. Thiscombination results in a progressive sealing andgrippingmechanism.IntheringsizesDN450–DN600acliphasbeenaddedtofixatetheringinthebodyofthefittingensuringeasyinstallationwithnointerference.

Uni/FikserThe Uni/Fiksers ensure optimal restraint both onrigid pipe materials and on plastic pipes, withoutcompromise.

Easy installation and reuseThe relatively long body of the MULTI/JOINT® 3000Plus fittingsoffersa large insertiondepth.This largeinstallation length makes the installation easy, asyou can use this length as desired. Moreover, thefittings are suppliedwith a clear installationmanual.
