DAY 41 Factors and Multiples

I like to do * Factor Rainbows * which place the factors in pairs so that you know that you have not forgotten any factors.

You are very likely to be asked about the HCF - Highest Common Factor between 2 numbers . This is the highest of the factors that are in both numbers. For 10 and 15 the HCF is 5.

You are also likely to be asked about the LCM Lowest Common Multiple of 2 numbers. This is the lowest of the multiples common to both of them. For 5 and 7 the LCM is 35.

You are sometimes asked to write a number in it’s prime factors and you may want to use a *prime factor tree* to do this.
