HEBREWS:

The Hebrews were becoming weary and lazy in

their minds. Heb 12:3

They were manifesting a revolt against maturity.Heb. 6

They were developing the habit of not assembling

together to hear Gods word and worship him.

Heb.13

They were in danger of fainting and quitting

Christianity altogether because of the sufferings

and persecution they were experiencing. Heb.10

Heb 12:1 Therefore,

since we have so great a

cloud of witnesses

surrounding us, let us

also lay aside everyencumbrance and the

sin which so easily

entangles us, and let us

run with endurance the

race that is set before

us,

We should rejoice when God disciplines us and drawcomfort from the biblical principle: The Lord disciplines

those He loves, and he punishes everyone He accepts as a

son (Heb. 12:6)

whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you

know that the testing of your faith develops

perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so

that you may be mature and complete, not lacking

anything. .
