Street Parade 2019 The colourful dance around the Zurich lake basin The 28th Street Parade was a full success. An estimated 850,000 party people danced with a sun-cloud mix to the beat of the 28 Love Mobiles and eight stages, making the Street Parade the worldwide techno capital once again. The atmosphere on site was relaxed and peaceful. Zürich, 10 August 2019, 20:45h - Just in time for noon, «Petrus» stopped the rain and gave the participants a sun-cloud mix and 23 degrees perfect Street Parade weather. The first of the 28 Love Mobiles left Zurich Seefeld on time at 2 p.m. for the 2 km long route, where it sank into the bath of the 850’000 party people. Shrill, weird or simply «casual», the young and young-at-heart from all over the world were drawn to the Limmat city. The atmosphere was excellent and peaceful, and so far there have been no incidents worth mentioning. With the motto «Colors Of Unity» the dancing crowd celebrated joie de vivre in downtown Zurich. This year's Love Mobiles, which as always were designed by the house and techno scene, were colourful, styled and creative. With sounds ranging from Deep House to Hardstyle, the Love Mobile makers served the whole range of danceable electronic music. The last mobile arrives at the finish at about 22.00h, on the stages the controls are turned off at midnight.
