Once again, the 2011 National CEO Conference will include the National Elevator Pitch Competition, chapter awards, the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), exhibits, networking opportunities, inspiring and successful entrepreneurial speakers, and much more! The National Conference is a great experience, especially for those of you who want to learn more about starting your own business while in school or after graduation, or about how to take your current business to the next level. There are also many opportunities to get involved at the conference, from competing in one of the competitions to being a session moderator.

GSEA Nominations Due! GSEA Regional Competition in Fort Worth

At the 2011 National CEO Conference in Fort Worth, TX, you can have the chance to compete in the regional GSEA (Global Student Entrepreneur Awards), competition! In conjunction with the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), this is a premier global competition for students who own and operate businesses while attending college. The winner of this regional competition will go on to compete in the Global Finals at the New York Stock Exchange for a chance to win more than $150,000 in total prizes!

Way to go, CEO! Genesee Community College Chapter gives back.

For the 2nd

year in a row, the Genesee Community College CEO Chapter donated $1,000 to their school’s foundation for student scholarships. The GCC students raised money selling their iconic Scholars Apple Cider Syrup and their brand new Scholars Cram & Crunch snack mix, which will soon be available online at www.gccscholars.org! The GCC CEO Chapter also orchestrated their first annual "Genesee Chicken Wing Eating Contest.”

So congratulations to the GCC CEO Chapter for their dedication and entrepreneurial spirit, not only in giving back to their community, but in helping to inspire future entrepreneurs!

CEO Member Biz Showcase
