Trogir is a historic town and harbour on the Adriatic coast in Split- Dalmatia County, Croatia
Population: nearly 11 000 people It is situated on a small island between the Croatian mainland and
the island of Čiovo It lies 27 kilometres west of the city of Split
Trogir has 2300 years of continuous urban tradition Even today you can see the influence of Venice In 1997 was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List The most important sites include:- Historical city core- The city gate and city walls - The Fortress Kamerlengo - The Duke's Palace- The Cathedral with the Portal of Master Radovan- The big and small palaces Ćipiko- The city loggia

History of the school
The school was named after the great gothic painter and sculptor Blaž Jurjev Trogiranin
He was most likely born in Lika, Lapac around 1390 and died in Zadar in 1450
He created numerous works of art by painting with tempera on wood, particularly crucifixes and polyptychs

Even during the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in Trogir existed a public school for a period of four years and lower civic school for a period of six years
...and now Today, the school educates for professions: Hotel and Tourism

Organisation of the school and dress code
Total number of students vary about 550 Class president is chosen by its
classmates or by Clasmaster There are 25 fully equiped classrooms
with wall panels, which can also be seen on hall walls
Class presidents It us usually the student who has the
best grades and is well behaved There are a few meetings of the class
presidents with our headmistress and class teachers
They discuss important issues such as school exurcions or trips, the organization of prom night, problems in class and so on

Sport events They are being organised every year in
few sport categories; volleyball, football, handball and table tennis
Students are competing not only from our school but from other shools in county
Our students (male and female) have shown great success
School kitchen and restaurant The school kitchen and restaurant where the waiters and cooks have
their practice work The place is used on special occasions mainly for Christmas or Easter
lunch when the students serve the teachers and their guests Also, the city council members sometimes use it for their business
lunches or dinners. Students don't get paid for this but they get practice lessons, which means they don't have to sit in class with their classmates during some theoretical lessons dealing with practical work
