An integration of the Special Revelation (the Bible) and the

General Revelation (the Creation)By

The author of the story [ 十二生肖 兩兩 相對 ] about the Chinese Zodiac of animals is very insightful about God's general revelation, His Creation, reflection His characters. Like the teaching in Proverbs, God encourages lazy people to learn from ants. “Go unto the ant, O slothful one, See her ways and be wise.” Proverbs 6:6

In response to the challenge of the author of the excellent story [ 十二生肖 兩兩 相對 ], “ 不知道你們那些寶瓶座啊、射手座啊、公羊座啊，體現了你們祖先哪些期望和要求？也希望不吝賜教。 “ as a Christian, I like to share a Christian interpretation of the Middle East and Western Zodiac. 

I have adapted the interpretation from some research studies. In God's Creation, His general revelation, He used the 12 constellations of the Zodiac like a 12-scene story to reveal the 12 highlights in total of the life and works of His Son, Jesus Christ; and then the works of Jesus Christ’s Successor, the Holy Spirit; and then the life and works of Jesus Christ’s followers; and then back to His own works.

For this ring of 12 constellations, God has begun the story by the constellation called Virgin.

As in the account of Christmas, a virgin, Mary, gave birth to Jesus, the Savior of the World about 2011 years ago.

Virgin Mary and her miraculous pregnancy was a fulfillment of a prophecy in the Hebrew Bible: “and enmity I put between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; he doth bruise thee -- the head, and thou dost bruise him -- the heel.” Genesis 3:15

John the Baptizer was the herald for Jesus and proclaimed the judgment of God, " and saying -- 'Fulfilled hath been the time, and the reign of God hath come nigh, reform ye, and believe in the good news.’“ Mark 1:15

John was also a fulfillment a prophecy in the Hebrew Bible : “A voice is crying -- in a wilderness -- Prepare ye the way of Jehovah, Make straight in a desert a highway to our God.” Isaiah 40:3

Satan is the Scorpion who tried to kill Jesus through hi s sting, Herod the King with all the children of two years of age or younger in Bethlehem, Jesus’ birth city, soon after he heard about Jesus’ birth.

This massacre was also prophesized by a prophecy in the Hebrew Bible, “Thus said Jehovah, A voice in Ramah is heard, wailing, weeping most bitter, Rachel is weeping for her sons, She hath refused to be comforted for her sons, because they are not.” Jeremiah 31:15

Jesus was both divine and human like the Archer who was both human and animal.

Even though Satan tempted Him often, He lived a kind, helpful, and sinless life. By doing so, He was aiming to destroy the wicked works of Satan, and eventually Satan, the leader of the fallen angels. Jesus was the Seed of the Woman, a fulfillment of a prophecy in the Hebrew Bible: “and enmity I put between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; he doth bruise thee -- the head, and thou dost bruise him -- the heel.” Genesis 3:15

Goat was the atonement sacrifice in the sacrificial system in the Hebrew Bible. Fish in Greek is Ichthys, an acrostic for "Jesus Christ, God's son, savior“. Jesus was the blameless atonement Goat offered and died on the wood cross and buried and resurrected with a glorified body and appearing to more than 500 people.

He was fulfilling the related prophecies of the Hebrew Bible to proof to us that He is the Christ , the Son of God and the Savior of the World, including us , the Chinese people.: “and Aaron hath brought near the goat on which the lot for Jehovah hath gone up, and hath made it a sin-offering.” Leviticus 16:9

Jesus Christ was the Water Bearer and the Holy Spirit was the water. About 40 days after His resurrection, Jesus Christ ascended to return to Heaven so that, for one of the purposes, He could baptize His followers with the Holy Spirit, His divine Successor, especially at the Feast of Pentecost. He was empowering them to be the witness of His resurrection by the Holy Spirit.

This powerful experience was a fulfillment of a prophecy in the Hebrew Bible, “And also on the men-servants, and on the maid-servants, In those days I do pour out My Spirit.” Joel 2:28

Fish in the Greek language is Ichthys, an acrostic for "Jesus Christ, God's son, savior“. Jesus was one of the two fish and the Holy Spirit was another similar fish. One followed the other.

The Holy Spirit followed Jesus Christ , the Son of God, the Savior of the World to be Another Comforter to the followers of Jesus, so that they can help the rest of the world to be followers of Jesus Christ.

Paul and other apostles and disciples of Jesus Christ was like a ram that lower its head and runs courageously and quickly.

By the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Paul and other apostles and disciples sacrificially rammed through many parts of the world to witness for Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World, even us the Chinese people.

Paul and other apostles and disciples of Jesus Christ was also like a bull which ploughs powerfully and kindly and then dies sacrificially.

By the power of the Holy Spirit of God, Paul and other apostles and many disciples healed the sick, helped people to believe in Jesus Christ and then most of them died as martyrs for Jesus Christ like a bull offered to the three Deities in one and only one heavenly corporate Trio of the Hebrew Bible which could have influenced the way how the bull was sacrificed in China to Heaven on the three-tier Circular Mound Altar ( 圜丘坛 ) of the Temple of Heaven ( 天坛 ) with three three-tier temples with gates of three entrances ( 三灵门 ).

Jesus Christ and Christians, His followers, are like identical twins with special connection and similarities.

By the grace of the Holy Spirit, Paul and other apostles and many disciples, including Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, the Father of Republic of China, a Cantonese physician, became so much like Christ in characters that they were called Christians, the followers of Christ or imitators of Christ or the doers of what Christ have done and is doing now in Heaven as our Advocate, Petitioner, and High Priest .

Satan is like a crab, a scorpion without a sting. a bottom feeder, a scavenger, and a deviant which walks in sideways.

When Christ will return to take His twin brothers and sisters to His Father's House in Heaven, the New Jerusalem City and He put the rest of the living human being to rest, Satan will become weaker like a scorpion turned into a sideway walking crab, a scorpion without the venomous stinging tail and can do less harm like a infamous and notorious godfather convicted and chained in a federal prison with his fallen angelic followers, the demons to be his companions.

Jesus Christ will rule the Universe like a lion rules a forest . Lions like other predators prey on the sick ones by their Maker’s design.

When He returns to Earth with His twin siblings in the New Jerusalem City. He will resurrect the unsaved sinners. Satan will lead them, besides the demons to attack Jesus Christ and His twin siblings. Jesus Christ will destroy Satan and his following demons and the resurrected unsaved sinners with the Lake of Fire. He will renew the Earth and its sky into the New Heaven and the New Earth. There will be no more sins, scams, crimes, injustice, disasters, sickness, sorrow, separations, or death. . They will eliminated like a sick animal eaten by a lion. Jesus Christ and His twin siblings will live happy ever after. Revelations 20 -21
