Jeremiah and Anna spend a night together that they will never forget.TRANSCRIPT
EXT. HIGH SCHOOL PARKING LOT - NIGHT
JEREMIAH steps out of the car, he is dressed in a nicebutton down shirt and slacks. He walks across the car andopens the door to let ANNA out. Anna is dressed in a longflowery dress, she steps out of the car and takes Jeremiah’shand.
JEREMIAHCome on, I can’t wait to show youthis.
Jeremiah begins to lead Anna across the parking lot in thedirection of the school’s buildings. Their hands aretogether, they walk at the same pace with smiles on theirfaces.
EXT. HIGH SCHOOL HALLS - NIGHT
They approach the front door of the school, Jeremiah triesvarious doors before finding one that will open.
JEREMIAHHere, this way.
Anna looks around, she hesitantly walks towards Jeremiah.
ANNAAre you sure we should be here? Imean, if all the doors are locked,then...
Jeremiah walks to meet Anna and grabs her hand.
JEREMIAHThis one was open though, so...we’re not doing anything wrong. Ifthey didn’t want us here, it wouldbe locked.
Jeremiah winks at Anna. She sighs and follows Jeremiahthrough the opened door.
They walk together through the hallways of the high school;the only sound heard is the pattering of their feet on thelinoleum floors.
JEREMIAHIt’s so weird being back here, allthe sudden I can remember everysingle class that I had.
Jeremiah stops in the middle of the hallway and points to adoor with George Washington on it.

JEREMIAHLike here. This is where I had Mr.LaCroix’s history class, freshmanyear. I sat in the front of classbecause he was very soft spoken.
ANNAI can’t imagine going to a schoolthis massive. Have you seen howmany classrooms there are?
They keep walking down the hallway together, turn the cornerand stop at another door. This one is decorated in colorfulpaper mache flowers.
JEREMIAHThis is where I had art class.
Jeremiah tries to open the door but it won’t open. He cupshis hands around the window and looks inside. Anna islooking around at all the empty rooms.
JEREMIAHCome look!
Anna walks towards the door and Jeremiah reaches behind himto grab her hand. She cups her hands around the window andlooks inside. Jeremiah stands behind her, holding onto herhips.
ANNAIt’s absolutely beautiful in there!There’s paintings everywhere!covering nearly every wall.
JEREMIAHLook to the left, do you see theblue one?
Anna moves her head to the left, still looking through thewindow.
ANNAWith the tree?
JEREMIAHYes, that one. That’s the one Ipainted as part of my seniorproject.
Jeremiah backs up and begins to walk away. He stands back,watching Anna look through the window.

ANNAIt’s gorgeous! At least what I cansee of it! You painted that wholething by yourself?
Anna reaches back to grab Jeremiah. He walks forward andgrabs her arm, pulls her into his arms.
JEREMIAHI have something better to show youthough.
They walk together down a long hallway towards a door thatreads "exit".
EXT. HIGH SCHOOL COURTYARD - NIGHT
Jeremiah and Anna walk arm in arm together into the highschool courtyard.
Anna lets go of Jeremiah’s arm and runs towards the pond inthe middle of the courtyard.
ANNAHave you seen this pond Jeremiah?It’s huge!
Jeremiah laughs and walks towards Anna. Anna is now at thewaters edge looking at her reflection in the water.
JEREMIAH(laughing)
Only a few times.
ANNABut really though, this school isabsolutely amazing.
Anna looks up at the school, then at Jeremiah.
JEREMIAHI’m glad you like it! I spent a lotof time here, I actually miss itsometimes. Life was so much simplerthen.
Jeremiah and Anna both stand at the waters edge.
JEREMIAHI’d go to school, go to footballpractice, spend time with friends,go home, sleep, then do the samething over again the next day. Ialways knew what to expect.

ANNAI can understand that, how nice itis to have things be routine andexpected. But sometimes you need toshake things up a little bit,experience something new.
Anna looks into Jeremiah’s eyes. He reaches out and puts hisarm around her shoulder.
ANNASometimes the unexpected things arethe ones that end up being worthit.
Jeremiah looks back into Anna’s eyes. Without letting Annaknow, he pats his pocket to make sure that the ring box inhis pocket isn’t noticeable.
JEREMIAHI couldn’t agree more. You’reperfect.
They walk together towards the brightly lit football field.
EXT. FOOTBALL FIELD - NIGHT
As they reach the football field, Jeremiah drops Anna’s handand begins to run as if he has a football in his hands.
JEREMIAHAnna, catch!
Anna shakes her head for a moment, then begins to run downthe field.
ANNAI’ve never played though babe!
Jeremiah pretends to throw the ball to Anna. She pretends tocatch the ball at midfield.
ANNATouchdown!
She then pretends to spike the ball, then throws her handsin the air to celebrate. Jeremiah laughs.
JEREMIAHYou have to keep running! All theway to the end for a touchdown!

ANNA(laughing)
Well, try to get me then!
Anna looks around, smiles big, then picks up the end of herdress in her hands. She begins running towards the end zone,Jeremiah follows quickly behind her.
ANNAYou’re never going to get me!
Jeremiah runs as fast as he can down the field. He grabsAnna in his arms and picks her up. They both laugh then fallto the ground.
As they lay there laughing, Jeremiah looks over at Anna.
JEREMIAH(out of breath)
I knew I could get you.
ANNAYou can always have me.
Jeremiah begins to sit up. He grabs Anna’s hand and theyboth stand up together. He grabs onto Anna’s waist and pullsher in close.
JEREMIAHAnna?
They look into each other’s eyes.
ANNAYeah? Are you mad that you justlost a football game to a girl in adress?
Jeremiah’s heartbeat can be heard pounding.
Jeremiah lets go of Anna, reaches into his pocket for thering box, and gets down on one knee. He opens the box andgrabs onto Anna’s hand. Anna gasps and covers her mouth withher hand.
JEREMIAHAnna, I couldn’t think of a betterplace to ask you to spend the restof your life with me than the placewhere I learned how to be a man. Ilove you Anna. You always make melaugh, you’re the kindest girl thatI’ve ever met, I love the way that

Jeremiah’s hand is shaking, he takes the ring out of the boxand puts it on Anna’s ring finger. Her hand and head shakeprofusely.
ANNAYes, yes, oh my gosh, yes.
Jeremiah stands up, they wrap their arms around each otherand passionately kiss.
Off in the distance, family members and friends come ontothe football field holding sparklers and cheering.
Anna looks into Jeremiah’s eyes.
ANNAI can’t wait to spend the rest ofmy life with you Jeremiah. I loveyou.
SLOW MOTION SHOT
Family members finally approach the couple who have theirarms wrapped around one another. They’re cheer and embracethe couple. Anna shows off the ring to everyone as theycheer. Jeremiah grabs Anna, dips her, and they passionatelykiss.
