Summer Women’s Bible Study
Ladies are invited to join in studying Beth Moore’s “Sacred Secrets.” The study will start on Wednesday, June 11, at 10:30 AM. “The world is obsessed with telling secrets for the sake of sensationalism. But not all hidden things are poisonous and dark. Some secrets are forgiven, some are covered, and some are kept between you and God.”
Beth explores the power of secrets in our lives and what happens when we let God teach us “wisdom in the secret heart.” (Psalm 51:6)
You are invited to sign-up in Fr. Amend Hall. Workbooks are $10. This study is 5-6 weeks and we will not meet on Wednesday, 7/2.
Questions—see or call Debi Calabrese 604-6499.
As the Pro–Cathedral of the International Diocese, St. Bartholomew’s is blessed to once again host the Diocesan Assembly. Your Global Missions Ministry set into motion many ministry initiatives. Here are some of the many coming up!
Integrity Bottle Recycling - We have already received several checks that will be used for “Missions” at St. Bart’s. We have used the 2 checks that we received to go toward the Bibles that were purchased for Cornerstone Manor.
Crescent Project -Bridges study coming soon! Learn more about your Muslim neighbors and to help minister to them help them to understand about Jesus.
Prayer for the Persecuted Church - continue to do an outstanding job and have added to the Prayers of the
People specific prayers and intentions for the persecuted. These are also listed in Parish Life.
Cornerstone Manor - we hope to do more this year with Cornerstone and Buffalo City Mission as well. It is our hope to provide cookouts and Bibles on weekends in September.
Operation Christmas Child and Samaritan’s Purse, - we plan on partnering with them again this year, and hope to get shoeboxes from them to distribute in October.
M&M’s: - They are being distributed even as you are reading this! We will collect the coin the June 7/8 and 14/15. – The money will to go to Niagara Power/ Fellowship of Christian Athletes. We ask you to help “sweeten the pot” for the young men who are sharing the Gospel through baseball. We will try to have another St. Bart’s Night—when we can give Cal the check!
St. Bart’s Family Fun Day: - August 23 we will pick up where RRR left off. Come and join us. See the poster on page 12 of this CHATTER!
We have got much more to talk about and we would love to hear from you. Come to our meetings and share your ideas about sharing Christ with others.

To Our Dear St. Bartholomew’s Family,
We just wanted to write a thank you note to you for
the many cards sent to Fr. Ed and to me (Georgia) after
my recent surgery and hospitalization. We both

Bart's family. I am so glad to be home from the
hospital and want to thank you for your continued
prayers for the both of us. With love,
Fr. Ed and Georgia Kusmierczyk
St. Bart’s is VERY blessed to have the Fred Garrasi III projection system installed and working in our church. We are in NEED of volunteers who would like to learn how to serve in this ministry. We will train all volunteers how to run the sound board, record sermons, and how to run the computer that houses our projection ministry.
Programs for the songs and service be written ahead of time for you, and all you need to do is run them. We will train you how to do all of this! Our first training session is Thursday, May 29 at 6 PM. We will have another session in June. Questions - please see Fr. Commins and Deacon Reitz.
