THE RULES

1. The categories will be at a later date depending on the entries received 2. We accept both cover versions and original songs in all the above age group categories3. Each act (singer, MC, poet, bands, speciality acts) shall perform one act lasting no longer than 4 minutes this

duration may change depending on the number of acts received. We will let you know before the finals.4. Bollywood entrants can be either vocal or dance performances5. Points out of 10 will be scored on presentation, content, originality and overall performance.6. Each category will be judged separately. 7. We reserve the right to immediately disqualify performers using foul or lewd language or music.8. You may enter a maximum of 2 categories but not twice in the same category (e.g. vocals & dance or dance

solo and dance group are fine) 9. Recorded lead vocals must not be part of your backing music, only chorus/harmonies are accepted.10. Submitted demos and/or pictures may not be returned. Material may be submitted to relevant industry personnel

at our discretion. We will inform you of any outcomes.11. We do not accept responsibility for backing tracks used in the competition. All backing tracks should have the

name of the contestant and the number of the performance track clearly marked.12. Any approaches made to performers at our shows must be made through Cultural Arts United. 13. Additional auditions or qualifying stages may be arranged at our discretion.14. Cultural Arts United reserves the right to broadcast any material from the show. 15. No filming will be allowed without prior permission of Cultural Arts United 16. We encourage all acts to gain local support form schools, friends, families and your local community this is your

chance to show people who you care about what you can do. 17. Preference will be given to local acts.18. A BLING YA TING trophy prize will be given to 1st /2nd.and 3rd place winners 19. JUDGES’ DECISION IS FINAL
