What is the difference between Pre-AICE/IGCSE and AICE?
• 9th grade: students may take Pre-AICE classes. The purpose of Pre-AICE is to prepare students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in future advanced studies courses. (Ex. Pre-AICE Spanish prepares students to take AP/AICE Spanish courses)
• 10th, 11th and 12th grade: students can participate in AICE classes even though they may not wish to earn the diploma.
*IGCSE: International General Certificate of Secondary Education*AICE: Advanced International Certificate of Education
Recognition in the USA: Cambridge AICE Diploma
