Committee Refuses Compensation C V ROBERTSON PRESIDENT Hardinsburg KyMay 5Special- The stockholders of the Breckenridge County Fair Association met at the court house Saturday afternoon and elected the following Board of Direc ¬ tors for the ensuing year C V Rob ¬ ertson Jess Howard Joe Glasscock W R Moorman Jr John D Shaw H M Beard George N Lyddan T J Hook and W j Piggott No other names were before the meeting Hon John P Haswell and Willis Green resigned and would not permit their names to be presented- E C Haswell offered the following Whereas Our fair of 1907 was an unqualified success that our grounds and buildings and equipments are prob ¬ ably the most beautiful and convenient in the State with the exception of pos ¬ sibly the largest cities and that they have bought and buildtd with the strictest economy and the manage ¬ ment and the building committee in charge of this work have refused to ac ¬ cept any compensation for their serv ¬ ices Therefore be it Resolved That the stockholders as ¬ sembled endorse and commend the management of the fair of 1907 our Board of Directors the building com ¬ mittee T T Hook C V Robertson and John P Haswell Jr and thank them for their Penance and Holy Communion Whilst the adoration of our Blessed Lord was being continued during each day of the celebration special evening devotions and an eloquent discourse on the Sacrament of
