Sandra Viglino is a dermapigmentologistand a well-known teacher in the field ofpermanent makeup. She is recognisedfor the great quality of her work inSwitzerland and throughout Europe.

She has a Swiss and internationalclientele and works with Les Hôpitauxuniversitaires de Genève (HUG), andwith private clinics in the Geneva andCanton Vaud. She also works with manySwiss doctors, well-knowndermatologists, cosmetic surgeons andgeneral practitioners.

Sandra has taken part in many TVprogrammes, such as Dolce Vita and inBon Entendeur. Throughout her careerher work has featured in several beautymagazines and newspapers.

2001 Sandra begins her career specialising indermapigmentation/permanent makeupin 2001. Quickly becoming fascinated,she turned this profession into an art,and joins the ranks of the permanentmakeup elite in Europe and in the US.She continues to improve her skills andknowledge every year, so that she'salways up to date with the latesttechniques, method and trends, whichshe passes onto her clients, pupils andother professional technicians.

2003 She sets up the DERMÈS centre atCarouge, Switzerland, a salonspecialising in aesthetic and correctivepermanent makeup. She also becomes amember of international professionalorganisations such as the AAM andSPCP / USA and SKF PMU inSwitzerland.

2005In 2005 she becomes the exclusivedistributor and instructor inSwitzerland for Nouveau Contour, andteaches in Geneva. She learns a lot fromall of the Nouveau Contour Worldinstructors. She focuses on setting uptraining and distribution targeted onpermanent makeup.

2007-2008 On the frontline as ever, Sandra decides to introduce lash extensions to Switzerland and to spread knowledge of this practice. She breaks new ground in training in the field of semi-permanent lashes and becomes the exclusive distributor for Lashes Extensions She opens the DERMÈS & Nouveau Contour Academy in Riddes in the Valais, both of which are dedicated to providing courses in permanent makeup, and Lash Extensions andeyebrow specialisations.

Her courses on lash extensions and products are a great success, becoming the market leader in Switzerland. So far more than 500 salons have been trained at her centre. Several specialist teachers in lash extensions join her team.

2008-2010 She decides to revolutionise the beautyworld with a new technique for raisingand curling the lashes. Innovations,ideas, creations, experience... she usesgroundbreaking new products tointroduce this technique in Switzerlandand Europe. She is convinced that heridea will transform beauty treatments,replacing the tradition lash perm.

After several experiments anddisappointments with differentproducts, and thanks to feedback of herclients and students and with two years’experience in the field, she decides tolaunch her own brand: YUMI™,specialist treatments for the lashes and brows.
