Masking TapeRulerBlack paintPencilPaper to cover the floor

Doing this task I worked with Parnyann and Nazish as we were the only people out of the whole C&M permitted to the practical.

Firstly we had to put the paper underneath the boards, to prevent any paint getting on the carpet.

The bars had to be the same length so to do this we divided the length of the board to the chosen length where going to use of the bars. So all the bars look even, to do this had to use a ruler and pencil in case I made a mistake.

To do this bit of the practical, in order to make the job quicker and not messy; You would have to put masking tape fro the bits you want white, and so filling out the bars with black paint would be quicker.

To do this we had black paint and thick brushes so we don’t waste time, I had to be careful doing this as the paint could go on my cloths and maybe go pass the masking tape. So this was a hard task. After that you peal of the masking tape and there you have your completed set design however only when the paint is dry so it doesn't smudge.

This practical was quite hard as it took up a lot of time making the bars equal to scale, having the masking tape straight and measuring the lines. So this task would of been impossible to do on your own so I was grateful I had help with my other fellow C&M students.
