EVENT SUMMARYThe inaugural Bend Classic will be held 7-8 December 2019 and will feature historic, classic and performance vehicles. Additionally there will be classic Formula 1 cars and South Australia’s iconic Brabham BT62.This 2-Day event will be a sprint format competition. Saturday will see all categories participating in timed practice sessions on all 3 layouts through-out the day. There will be a total of 4 x sessions.Sunday will be the timed competition on these same layouts, with points awarded in order of best lap time on each circuit configuration.The event concludes with a One Lap Shootout for outright and category competition! Attached is the Entry List and Schedule for the Classic. PRIZESThe Bend Classic winners are competing for prizes to the value of over $5,000 and a chance to be the first to write their name on the Classic Perpetual Trophy! First PrizeThe Bend Classic Winner will receive a Day Track Hire for 6 people on the International Circuit. It can be either an exclusive day or part of our member days.
Second Prize Second overall will receive a Season Pass to The Bend Motorsport Park.
Third Prize Third overall prize will receive a Hot lap as a passenger on the 777 GT circuit during Asian Le Mans.
Category WinnerEach category winner will receive 2 free tickets to either Asian Le Mans or Supercars in 2020.

QUALIFICATIONThe 2 cars from each category with the highest pointscore will qualify for The Bend Classic Shootout. The fastest cars from each category across the day will compete against the clock and each other to determine category and outright winners.

WILDCARDAt the discretion of the promoter, competitors may be chosen to participate in the Shootout as Wildcard entrants. WINNERSThe competitor’s Shootout time will be compared against others of the same category to deter-mine the category winner. Additionally, their shootout time will be compared against all cars to determine the overall Bend Classic Winner!
PADDOCK LAYOUT / GARAGINGIncluded in the entry fee is garaging for all competitors. Every participant at The Bend Classic will be based in a Pit Lane Garage.
