  • WU TANG WU WEAR Before Kanye West started Yeezy, before A$AP Rocky designed his collections for Guess and even before P Diddy’s Sean John’ range, the Wu-Tang Clan was one of the first in Hip Hop to venture into their own fashion business. WU WEAR was created and their logo is still to this day a staple wardrobe piece for every generation. Rihanna recently posed in her long sleeve Wu Tang tee which was clearly inspired by the 90s trend and so now making it a fashion piece. Wu Tang are touring this year across the USA and a few select UK dates too.

  • BEASTIE BOYS:HELLO NASTY IS 20 Hello Nasty hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and went triple platinum, was classified as an alternative album by the Grammy Awards. However, it still fused plenty of Hip Hop into its metal DNA, with the addition of world-class DJ Mix Master Mike greatly benefiting the record. Hello Nasty won for Best Alternative Music Album and for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group with “Intergalactic” at the 41st Grammy Awards. Earlier this week, Mike D made it a promise to his fans that he has written a memoir which will tell the truth and about their amazing career. From their early rise to fame to recent events – we will hear about it all. For the Beastie Boys, the 80’s was a time for amazing music and film which heavily influenced their sound. Since they considered themselves both a Hip-Hop and Rock-n-Roll group, they attribute their sounds to many different entities.
