Oliver

Oliver was perhaps the greatest inuence on the nowinfamous phrase that all Fagan bassets have responded

to over the years. Loathsome and spotty. Oliver

seemed to speak in a tone that proved intelligence,

despite his striking good looks. This basset had both brains and

beauty. Pictured here with his partner in crime, the Sasquatch.

Elvis

One day, a boy came home from his grandmothers and

there was Elvis, a new part of the family. It seemedhowever, that Elvis would establish an unbreakable

connection with the elder Fagan. Generally well

behaved, Elvis liked to have fun here and there, once he even wore

a fedora for a photoshoot, the rascal. Elvis was a hulking basset

- he wore his thick black coat proudly and rarely tripped over his

long ears. What a feat for a basset! His legs were not as stubby as

a normal basset, and just when you thought he might be a mixed

breed, he let out a howl that reminded you, he was full basset

indeed. Elvis was a gentle basset and always the leader of the pack,

trying his best to manage the hound that was about to come.

Molly

What can we say about Molly? This basset had the

honor of having the same dog as both a father andgrandfather. Whatever they say about in-breeding is

true. Molly was the crazy basset that you were afraid

to let out of your sight, but the crazy made her the sweetest basset you

will ever meet. Oh the days she spent licking the face of her boy as he

counted into the hundreds. They couldve broken world records had

Guinness come calling. Molly could never gure out how to not go to

the bathroom inside, but she made up for it in cuteness and the amount

of love she was willing to give you. She lived a long life for a basset,

every day making sure to try to tear some shoulder muscles in Lady

Fagan, as she burst onto the steps to go outside. As an old lady, Mollys

energy slowed, but her love never did, she was still the sweetest basset.

Duncan

Duncan, the male basset with nipples. Duncan never

quite t in with the other hounds, but that didnt

make him vocalize any thought that came into

his mind. Hungry? A nice howl. Need to go out?

A nice bork. Of course, Duncans favorite activity was drinking

water. Constantly. Duncan could drink the ocean if you let him.

Boki

Boki is the queen of the Bassets Fagan clan. She is more

spoiled than any dog before her and thats probably

because she deserves it. You may ask, is that a Hush

Puppy model? She would respond with a howl that would

certainly say, almost. Boki is also a well behaved basset, taking free

reign of the house as she pleases and taking car trips to the beach

with moderate ease. This barrel chested hound loves to have her belly

rubbed by anyone at anytime and certainly has a nose for the camera.

Calvin

Calvin was certainly a welcome addition to the Bassets

Fagan. He arrived as a foster but was so beloved by

Lady Fagan that she could just not bear to part with

him. Calvin was affectionately referred to as Cowboy,

and he certainly was tough - enduring some health issues in his later

years. No matter, Calvin was the perfect compliment to Boki and

Molly - adding some much needed testosterone to the house. He and

Molly shared a special bond, hanging on in their old age till the end.

The Basset Family

There are times when bassets travel in packs. Onewould think that as a hunting animal, this would be

for attack purposes. However, studies have shown

that bassets travel in packs for the sole purpose

of looking adorable. These bassets are quite the crafty ones.
