The Basix Dental Savings Program is not insurance, rather it is a network of dentists that provide dental services to students enrolled in Gallagher Student Health & Special Risk health plans at negotiated discount rates.
How the Program WorksBasix contracts directly with area dentists to provide services for insured students at reduced fees. Students download all the information they need for their visit when selecting a contracted dentist from our website. This includes the fees the dentist accepts, an administrative contact to coordinate with at the dental office, and instructions for the dentist about how to check eligibility.
