If it is meant for more than one person, choose who must have this e-mail.

that you are talking about. This is not where you put your greeting.

you are talking about. ◦ Especially if this is a formal e-mail (to a teacher).

Write your letter. ◦ Make sure that you use the same language as you

would use if you were talking face to face. Always include a closing before your name.

Remember that anything you receive is meant for you.◦ Whoever sent it to you may not want you to share

it with others. If you forward something, include the

person who sent it to you so they know you are sharing it.

Do not forward chain mail.
