cake with award-winning pastry chefs. They’ll leave entertainment,
photography and flowers to you. THE SEXY: The ultra contemporary ballroom
boasts a built-in bar with mahogany woods and elegant wall coverings, but
the wall of floor-to-ceiling windows seals the scenic deal, with panoramic
views of Atlanta. THE SINGULAR: For Saturday daytime or Sunday events, the
entire 6,000-square-foot club can be booked, holding up to 300 guests.

Penthouse,” the 49th and 50th floors of the 191 Peachtree Tower next
door. THE SKINNY: Two 2,500-square-foot floors make a sweeping
statement to guests, who access the space without ever having to go
outside after entering the Ritz. The entire Ritz experience is picked up
and moved next door, and there is truly no end to customization
choices, including interactive sommeliers and mixologists and edible
cocktails—traditional drinks in gelatin form served on a spoon. After
the big send-off, guests make the short walk back to their rooms. THE
SEXY: Used for ceremonies or as a pre-reception cocktail area, the 49th
floor features floor-to-ceiling windows and a stately entry with Italianmarble floors. A grand staircase connects to the 50th floor—a blank
canvas reception space for brides who delight in décor. THE SINGULAR:
Seated dinners are served in style with the Ritz’s signature synchronized
service, a parade of waiters serving each guest in unison. THE CATCH: At
press time, the Penthouse is only available for bookings through 2008.

guests; host your rehearsal dinner at one of two premier restaurants, Tom
Colicchio’s Craft Atlanta (opening in September) or the Italian-inspired
NEO; and treat the bridal party to “toes and tips” at 29 Spa. Amenities

W ATLANTA MIDTOWNTHE SCENE: Opened in late March, this posh new Midtown hotel hotspot
truly puts the W in wow for the couple looking to give their guests the
ultimate in glamour. The party starts at the front door of this chic culture
club (home of both Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Spice Market and
Rande Gerber’s Whiskey Park) with sleek décor, cool tunes and prettypeople galore. THE SKINNY: A private entrance off the valet circle leads to
the great room, from which guests can access Away, a private third-floor
lounge, or be whisked to Altitude, the 4,000-square-foot top floor of this
27-story hotel accommodating up to 250 guests. THE SEXY: Floor-to-ceiling
windows allow expansive views of Downtown, Midtown and as far out as
Stone Mountain. Looking for a sunny spot for a Sunday brunch before
guests depart? Get WET, W’s outdoor pool and deck area. THE SINGULAR:
The W’s trademark “Whatever/Whenever” service leaves no whim
unfulfilled. Want a dim sum station? Absolutely. Cake stuck in traffic? No
worries. When this problem popped up at another W outpost, the staff
hired a helicopter to deliver the cake safely to the reception. Still in the
