HMMWV Ambulance Production
• ARNG is 74 percent on-hand for HMMWV ambulances• HQDA approved the ARNG’s request for 500 modern HMMWVambulances to support HLD/HLS requirements • Will consist of a modified M1152A1 chassis integrated with a modified M997A2 Ambulance Box• AM-General will produce the HMMWV chassis, Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing Facility will build and integrate the ambulance boxes• Vehicle testing starts Sep 11, projected completion Jan 12 • Full Rate Production projected in 3rd Qtr, FY12.

National Guard and Reserve Equipment Appropriation (NGREA)
NGREA is defense procurement funding • Shortfall in modernization or on-hand quantities.• Prefer an Enterprise-wide solution• Priority standard LIN, Critical Dual Use items
Must meet the same DoD Standard of 80% first year, 90% second and full obligation in the final year
Recent significant NGREA procurements• ~ $720M of FMTVs• ~ $91M of TOC/SICPs for the Multi-functional Brigade structure• ~ $98M for Heavy Scraper modernization• ~ $118M for LUH Mission Equipment Package
