We typically host a single event per day to allow privacy and flexible timing for you and your family and from 20 to 160 guests. We offer a generous 6 hours of your choice – beginning with ceremony time if getting married on site (Sample time line for ceremony on site – ceremony 5:00 P.M. – guest arrival 4:30 P.M. – ending 11:00 P.M. – huggy byes until @ 11:30 P.M.) Getting married on site – Bridal Party is welcome to arrive 4 hours before the ceremony for dressing and pre photos. Rental of The Gathering Space includes tables (we have rounds for 8 and rounds for 10-12 as well as some fun square tables for 8) and white wood chairs. Fruitwood Chivari chairs are available for $5 each and a limited number of Tuscan Tables are available for $75 each. For ceremonies, we have beautiful vintage pews for your guests under our clear top tent - We also handle the details of orchestrating so you can just sit back – relax and enjoy. Best Western on Wolf Road. Durham Bus is also available for a fairly modest rate for the day of @ $350.00 Allowing you the flexibility of choosing several local hotels. When you book you special event you will receive a complete three-ring binder of suggestions for vendors including: florists, musicians, transportation, horse-drawn carriages, DJ’s, photographers, videographers, hair stylists, and much much more.

Thank you for contacting us at The Appel Inn Gathering Space.

We typically host a single event per day to allow privacy and flexible timing for you and your family and from 20 to 160 guests.

Getting married on site – Bridal Party is welcome to arrive 4 hours before the ceremony for dressing and pre photos.

Pricing† 2018/2019

We generally host a single event per day, allowing privacy and flexibility of timing.

May thru November 14th (Up to six hour Ceremony & Reception with up to 150‡-160 guests)

Friday $4,900.00 Saturday $6,000.00 Sunday $4,000.00*( 5hours )

November 15th thru April 30th (Up to six hour Ceremony & Reception with up to 135 guests)

Friday $4,000.00 Saturday $4,750.00 Sunday§ $3,700 (5 hours)

** Our pricing is all inclusive – venue – setting – seating (inside and out) – tables –beautiful new x back chairs & guidance from beginning to end ** -- We include the month of planning and day of coordination from A Gracious Event.

Ceremony on-site:

Location of your Ceremony –in front of the majestic fireplace during the winter.

******A new Clear Top Tent magical outdoor covered location allowing ceremonies under the stars & in the rain our secluded wooded site complete with gorgeous vintage church pews

& New Private Dressing Suite – A Secluded Building just for you

Ceremony includes seating (Vintage pews for an outdoor chapel feel– full coordination – dressing on site with time for pre-photos.– arranging rehearsal times and anything else that you need to have your day go as you vision.

Adding the Caterers into the pricing:-- Unlike banquet facilities that offer just one chef and options – we offer you 4 different choices of styles and chefs - Our approved Caterers will include in their proposals: China, Silver, Linen, Glassware, Bar supplies, Service Staff and secure an Albany County permit under their Liquor Permit and Insurance.

Please remember – the wonderful advantage to working with our approved caterers is that they can create almost any menu – What is are your favorite foods? Perhaps Mac and Cheese or a six course formal white-glove service Filet Mignon, wedding barbecues, delicious brunches? Our Approved Caterers:

Professional - finish cooking on site & well staffed - they love to customize the menu and provide fully insured, and Albany County permitted bar to reflect your taste and budget – would like us to consider an alternative caterer – we can discuss and must approve prior to your contracting – there will be an additional service fee applied above listed prices.

Examples of Price ranges obtained from our Caterers –

Hors d'oeuvre and Dinner @ $50 to $65

Up to 5 hour Bar – @ $20 to $35

Depending on Beer /wine/soda to full premium bars.

Above example Prices are plus tax and services, and inclusive of Albany County permit and Insurance under their Liquor License Insurer – contact the Caterers directly for Proposals.

**** Remember these are estimates – Need help trimming a budget? We are here with ideas to help create your day in your budget. Some budget thoughts – Sunday Brunches – Gorgeous & Delicious – Everyone loves omelet stations & mimosas.

***Catering hours ultimately dictate the venue hours – If you choose less than 6 hours with the caterers – than the venue ends with the catering ending -

Like to secure a date for your day – just give a phone call or email me at [email protected] - let me know – send me your full names – address – phone numbers – date – rough guest count and ceremony location I will send you 2 copies of a contract and ring binder full of information – When you receive it – Just mail back a signed copy of the contract with a $1,000.00 retainer and keep a copy –(retainer is applied towards your balance – it is non refundable) - than 50% 6 months from wedding date and final payment 30 days before event.
