Governor Kulongoski signed Executive Order 09-06 on February 11, 2009, setting up the The Oregon Way Advisory Group

President Obama signed ARRA into law on February 17th, 2009.

ARRA Detail

provide $2.4 b to Oregon over the next 3 years. Focused on workforce training for green jobs training

programs (renewables & efficiency) through the Dept. of Labor

Additional funds are being distributed through Federal Agencies

Example: An additional $37 billion in competitive grants available to all states through the Dept of Energy (must be decoupled):
