The Worldview Education Fair is dedicated to helping institutions recruit prospective international students; specifically focusing on Africa students. Our fairs are open to all institutions worldwide. Many fairs and exhibitions focus only on recruiters from a specific country, thereby attracting a limited pool of students with predetermined interests in those specific locations. The Worldview Education Fair brings institutions from all around the world to one place; giving students more opportunities and options, thereby attracting a larger, more diverse pool of students. For recruiters, this exhibition provides an opportunity to expand their reach and brand awareness; marketing to a larger number of students.

The Worldview Education Fair take places bi-annually and is a one day event designed to draw a larger pool of students because of the diversity and being able to have options as to costs of study, study destination and course requirements. Students attending the fair are pre-screened as we always want to ensure our exhibitors get good return on their investment.

Children in Ghana attend primary school for six years. The official language of instruction is English, however, students are exposed to French and local languages from an early age. The vast majority of Ghanaian students attend public boarding schools, many of which are highly competitive; there are only six international private secondary schools in the country. More middle class Ghanaian families are investing in their children’s higher education, a fact reflected in the higher numbers of students attending schools overseas. Most students are self-funded, but there are a number of scholarships for African students to support their dream to study abroad.

A distinct advantage Ghanaian students have in terms of international study is that, though there are over 70 different tribal groups in the country, each with its own distinct language, the official language of instruction and lingua franca is English, which can ease qualified students’ transitions into overseas academic environments.

According to UNESCO, the total outbound internationally mobile tertiary students studying abroad from Ghana is 11,116 students, with a 7.2 % increase in international student mobility from previous year.

In Cote d’Ivoire, the academic year begins in October and ends in July, and the official primary school entrance age is 6. The system is structured so that the primary school cycle lasts 6 years, lower secondary lasts 4 years, and upper secondary lasts 3 years.

Computers and automated data processing equipment were used at the national university in 1987 and were to be introduced at lower levels of the education system by 1990 before other African countries began to do so. By the late 1980s, the government was producing its own text books, previously purchased in France, to reflect local cultural values. The main problem in Ivorian education remain a shortage of teachers at every educational level. The government responded with training programs and short courses, and by recruiting expatriates to teach at the secondary and postsecondary levels.

Cameroon is a middle income country with a population of 23.3 million people. Situated in Central Africa, it shares a border with Nigeria, Chad, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon. Two regions are Anglophone (the northwest and southwest regions that border Nigeria) while the rest of the country is Francophone. It is endowed with significant natural resources, including oil and gas, high value timber species, minerals, and agricultural products such as coffee, cotton, cocoa, maize, and cassava. Cameroon still has one of the best-endowed primary commodity economies in sub-Saharan Africa.

In Cameroon, the academic year begins in September and ends in June, and the official primary school entrance age is 6. The system is structured so that the primary school cycle lasts 6 years, lower secondary lasts 4 years, and upper secondary lasts 3 years. There continues to be a growing trend of students looking to further their education abroad; and although the local universities try to implement courses studied abroad to tempt students to remain in the country but the market remains buoyant for international institutions.

What our

clients sayThis is my first time in Worldview Fair, I am very

happy and pleased to be here, I met good quality students.

Nabil Eluardi, Regional Manager Africa & Middle EastSwiss Education Group , Switzerland

2015 edition was very productive, we had 9 students that actually enrolled in our school through the fair but I have to say it doesn’t compare even moderately to the 2016 event. In all the events I have been to different parts of the world but this is by far the best; it’s definitely the most efficiently done and best prepared I have ever seen.

Jeffrey W. Weisberger, Director of Admissions American University Of St Vincent, United States

Today’s event is really organized very well and the crowd I can say is overwhelming, It’s good, I’m getting a very good response form the students.

Yashavanth Gowda, Asst. Marketing Manager Middlesex University Dubai, United Arab Emirates

It’s rare to come across a company (staffs) with such an in-depth understanding of what it means to put together a highly successful event involving multiple priorities and different stakeholders. Luckily for me, Worldview and its team happens to be both supremely talented in event management and highly responsive to clients’ needs. We will certainly join the fair in 2018.
