Point of Departure

The state of Baden-Wuerttemberg is one of the most important locations of the European aerospace industry.

Companies like EADS, Tesat-Spacecom, Thales, Schempp-Hirth or Dornier Consulting are operating in the Stuttgart Region respectively in Baden-Wuerttemberg.

Additionally, suppliers of the automotive cluster like Behr, Bosch, Busak + Shamban Deutschland and numerous SMEs built up aerospace divisions.

The research infrastructure in Baden-Wuerttemberg, especially in Stuttgart, is excellent. Industry and research institutes are well linked.
