Economic language Arabic was the official language of the civilization. As more people learned Arabic, it was easier to communicate. Trade increased, with goods and information changing hands over long distances. Information from different cultures blended in the empire.

ScienceIslam’s holy book teaches respect for all knowledge and people of faith. Their holy book is called the Qur’an

also encouraged striving to learn as much as possible throughout their lives. Being taught that, everything they conquered they didn’t destroy.

Political sideIslam, wanting to keep peace and order, built a law system from the Qur’anThe system was made so that people would apply the Qur’anIn everyday situations. The book of laws is called the Sharia, it regulates all aspects of life

Math and ScienceArabic numerals, adapted from Hindu, and the idea of zero made algebra possible. Al- Khwarizmi wrote an algebra textbook that was the standard for centuries. Islamic scholars studied both greek and Indian mathematics before making important contributions of their own. Sciences advanced in many directions during the Islamic Golden Age. The scientists of that day were very skilled in astronomy.
