1We resolve that the Courts should ensure consistency and uniformity of decisions in election matters, so as to build confidence and credibility in the justice system.

2 We recommend that civic education should be strengthened and effectively implemented so as to improve the electoral process.

3 we recommend that Court judgments should be studied by the respective EMBs and remedial steps taken to avoid future occurrence of malpractices.

4 We recommend that amendments be made to the Electoral laws to disqualify for a period of time ,candidates who have been proven in Court to have committed electoral offences.

5 we recommend that the Electoral Systems in East Africa should be re-examined with a view to establishing more appropriate systems.

6 We recommend that steps be take to provide for and enforce equitable media coverage of all candidates in an election.
