2.1. Partnership in Managing Education based on Green & Sustainability
Post Graduate Program specialized in Environment Studies , which is based on multidiciplinary field of study.
UNS developed Center of Study specialized in environmental issues: Research Center for Environmental Studies. The center of study has been developing partnership with Government Units of Environment in the Regencies or Cities in overall Indonesia through the preparation of Environmental Impact Assestment Document (AMDAL).
In internal operation of education: coursework related to green and sustainability is about 10 %. This been conducted in several study programs, such as Ecology Studies, Environmental Science, Natural Resources and Environment, Green Application in Architecture, etc.
Whereas number of publication concerning green and sustainability is 149 articles in 2016
Conclusion
1. Implementation of Green Campus UNS has been threatened especially by changing attitude and behaviour of civitas academica, which needs long processes to change,
2. Provision of Facilities related to implementation of Green Campus are fully supported by RECTOR, however these are not effectively utilized without awareness of civitas academica,
3. Partnerships with other wider institutions to support Green Campus implementation will be effective, when civitas academica has enough understanding about Green Campus Concept.
