The 380 Devil Dogs Volleyball Club is committed to competing in and growing boys volleyball in Eastern Iowa. The Devil Dogs will develop volleyball skills, inspire respect for the rules of the game, promote brotherhood in a competitive environment, and encourage the commitment of athletes to growth and improvement of self, team, club, and sport.

*All school sanctioned events including athletics, band, choir, show choir, etc… take priority over the 380 Devil Dogs Volleyball Club. We request any conflicts be communicated with the coaches and club director at a minimum of one week before an event the athlete is scheduled to compete in. Conflicts with practice need only be communicated with coaches.

• Teams will play in at least four tournaments

• Black Teams may run later due to national level tournaments

A code of conduct will be signed by each player and their parent prior to the start of season.

Participation as a member of the 380 Devil Dogs Volleyball Club is a privilege.

Players and parents are expected to conduct themselves in such a manner to reflect highly on themselves, their teammates and coaches, and the Volleyball Club.

Any behavior by a player or parent which violates the code of conduct and is determined to be inappropriate as determined by the 380 Devil Dogs Volleyball Club Board of Directors in their absolute discretion is grounds for immediate termination of further club participation.

Each player/parent will have an opportunity to address the board.

If dismissed from the Club, any unpaid fees must still be paid to the Club.

Players are not guaranteed equal playing time.

Playing time is determined by the coach.

Coaches will also assess the strength of each player to determine where an athlete best fits the lineup. If a player is concerned about his playing time, he should contact the coach after practice.

Parents are not allowed to contact coaches during tournaments or practices to discuss playing time.
