Official Notice: AIA/Los Angeles 2010 Elections In January 2010, Paul A. Danna, AIA will assume the office of President; Stuart C. Magruder, AIA will continue for the second year of his term as Treasurer; Steven D. Ehrlich, FAIA, Mahmoud Gharachedaghi, FAIA, Margaret Griffin, AIA and Deborah Weintraub, AIA will continue for the second year of their term as Board Directors; John E. Kaliski, AIA (2009 AIA/LA President) will serve as a Board Director in the role of Past-President; and Michael A. Enomoto, FAIA will continue for the second year of his term as AIACC Representative. Nominations should be addressed to: Paul A. Danna, AIA - Chair, Nominations Committee American Institute of Architects/ Los Angeles 3780 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 800 Los Angeles, CA 90010 The AIA/LA Nominations Committee is pleased to announce the names of the following persons, who will be nominated as candidates: Vice President/ President-Elect (one position available in 2010): Hsin-Ming Fung, AIA Secretary (one position available in 2010): Li Wen, AIA Directors (three positions available in 2010): Angela C. Brooks, AIA Sharon Johnston, AIA Roger Sherman, AIA AIACC Representative (one position available in 2010): Julie Eizenberg, AIA Nominations The AIA/LA Chapter By-Laws allow for Architect-Members-in-Good-Standing to have three weeks from the date of this notice to submit additional names for any of the open offices (i.e, Vice President/ President-Elect, Secretary, Director, AIA/CC Rep). Each such nomination must be in writing and must be seconded by four (4) LA Chapter Architect-Members-in-Good-Standing. Nominations should be received no later than Friday, August 14, 2009 at 4:00pm.
