Theme

Creative, innovative and inclusive agriculture for the Sustainability of Food Security and Sovereignty

Introduction

Sustainable agriculture produces high quality of foods and fibers not only to meet the needs of the present but also to preserve natural resources for future genera-tion. Under sustainable agriculture system, many good practices have been implemented to promote soil health and fertility, minimize use of water, lower pollution, minimize greenhouse gas production, and to maximize use of agricultural waste. The system offers creative, innovative and inclusive breakthrough for producers, workers, traders, food processors, distributors, retailers, consumers, and policy makers to develop economically profitable and environmental friendly agriculture.

Many sustainable practices of agriculture have been implemented to produce variety of grains, tubers, fruits, vegetables, meats, fishes, eggs, milks and other agricul-tural products. Food system under sustainable agriculture could ensure food security wherein people have all time access to sufficient, safe, nutritious, and affordable food that meets their dietary needs and food preference. There-fore, people are encouraged to accept and implement innovative and economically viable breakthrough offered by the system to achieve and sustain food security and food sovereignty. Academics, researchers, practitioners and policy makers are encouraged to play more roles in the development of technology to strengthen sustainable agriculture for the sustainability of food security and food sovereignty.

Objectives

To bring together scientists, educators, researchers and practitioners to share ideas, experiences and research re-sults, good practices and innovation on all aspects of sus-tainable agriculture.

Paper submission

SAFoSS 2018 Conference would only accept full paper

to be presented in the conference and published in reputable

conference proceeding indexed by SOPUS. Authors are

encouraged to strictly follow the article format provided by

the publisher. Paper should consist of 6 to 12 pages, in-

cluding references and appendices. All submitted papers

will be reviewed by recognized reviewers, one paper will

be reviewed by two reviewers. Authors of accepted papers

will be requested to complete the registration by paying the

registration fee, revise their papers as advised by reviewers,

and resubmit the paper before final paper acceptance

deadline. Paper should only be submitted via online and no

email submission is available.

Publication

A total of 100 accepted and presented papers will under-go further review process before being published by SCITEPRESS indexed by SCOPUS, THOMSON & REUTERS and SEMANTIC SCHOLAR.
