• A judge ordered TSA to pay an employee 1 month of backpay and $100,000 in compensatory damages. • TSA was also ordered to modify the agency’s policies to comply with the Rehabilitaon Act. TSA cannot treat officers with alleged disabilies less favorably than officers without disabilies. TSA may not limit paid administrave leave to 7 days for employees issued a proposed removal due to a medical condion. • Unless the employee would pose a direct threat in a duty status, TSA may not force an employee to take leave (LWOP, annual, sick, administrave, etc.) aſter receiving a proposed removal due to a medical condion.
