THANK YOU
Thanks so much for another great year of Sunday school! Thanks to the teachers, Donna Koopmans, Mandy Bonnema, Leah Schoonhoven, Pam Fedders, Randy and Tammy Sieck, Brent Davelaar and Arlin De Weerd! If you see them please show your appreciation for their
dedication all year. Thanks also to Cinda Faber and Shirley Ten Napel for helping with music! We were able to fill 30 bags for the Family Crisis Center! Yeah! Thanks for your financial support for that as well! Thanks mostly for your prayers and support this year!
Tammy Sieck, Sunday School Supt.
Thank you to everyone for your cards and prayers when my sister-in-law, Cora Broek died. I really appreciated it!

I would like to thank the congregation for your thoughts, prayers and food brought in after my fall and after my nose surgery. I am feeling a lot better. God is good!!

ANNOUNCEMENTS
CREATION CARETAKER CLEAN-A-THON - On May 4, the students and staff of Unity Christian High School are launching their 2nd Creation Caretaker Clean-a-thon! We are excited to clean over 50 miles of Sioux County roadways. Our fundraising goal is set at $50,000. Raised funds will be used for our annual budget. We are asking students to seek sponsors from families, friends and church members. Donors are welcome to give to this cause, either through a student, or through a direct donation to the school. If you do not receive a brochure in the mail, but would like to participate, just send a donation to Unity at any time.
YOU ARE INVITED TO A WOMEN’S/GIRL’S SPRING BRUNCH! It will be held on Saturday, May 7, at 8:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Feel free to invite your mothers, children, or friends. Please sign up if you'd like to come so that we know how many to figure on. There is also a sign up sheet for food.
PRO-LIFE TIP NIGHT: Unity Christian's Anatomy and Physiology class will be hosting a tip night at the Sioux Center Pizza Ranch on Wednesday, May 11 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. Our deep hope is to raise the awareness of the humanity of the unborn. The money raised will be used to help purchase a 4-D ultrasound machine for Cornerstone for Life Pregnancy Resource Center in Storm Lake, IA. Come out, enjoy some great food and fellowship and raise money for a wonderful Pro-life cause!
YOUTH GROUP HOSTING “HUMAN” FOOSBALL TOURNAMENT on Friday, June 3 for youth groups from the area and Saturday, June 4 for adult teams. If you would like to put a team together of friends, & family that would be great! A team is 6 people and possibly 2 to rotate in. We will need 8 teams (for Sat. tournament), double elimination, 2 games guaranteed, with an entrance fee of 100.00 per team. The tournament will be held at the Christian School and concessions will be available. This would be a great time to get your older “kids” together for a fun filled Sat. of foosball, food and fellowship. Shin guards are not required, but may be suggested! Contact Sara for more information and to register your team.
