ISO Business Recommendations and A FREE Community Party

Did you know that ISO means “In Search Of”? I see on Facebook,

Nextdoor and many other sites residents typing the phrase “ISO

electrician”, “ISO local dentist so I don’t have to drive down the hill”,

“ISO reputable contractor”, “ISO a job in the mountain area”. Every

chance I get I reply back with recommendations for local services

with their telephone numbers and website to help locals connect to

the referrals they need. As President of the Evergreen Chamber it is

my job to facilitate the connection.

We tell everyone who asks the best way to find a recommendation is to visit the Evergreen

Chamber website under the Business Directory tab! A one stop shop for all contact

information for local businesses. This is what the Chamber of Commerce is all about.

Recommending one of our 500+ members who support our community by being a part of

the Chamber. These businesses have demonstrated that they are excited to be part of and

serve a growing economy with quality services and customer care.

I also see on Facebook and Nextdoor that the folks asking for recommendations for services

are not just new to the area. Many of them are families that I personally have known for

years, our kids went to school together, we see each other at the grocery store. My staff

and I are proud to tell residents about who does what, who we have experience with and

how to get things done. All of us research online and talk to those we know to make

purchase decisions especially on things that you don’t buy every day such as a new deck, a

furnace or a new kitchen. By asking the Chamber of Commerce what local business they

recommend it can simplify the research process and get you moving on to getting the job

done. Thank you to all our members for giving us the opportunity to get you connected to

customers.

Time to celebrate! The Evergreen Chamber and the Evergreen Park and Recreation District

have once again partnered to thank our community for their support. Join us at our annual

Evergreen Elk’s Lodge Field of Honor

On Sunday May 27th Evergreen Elks Lodge planted around 40 flags for their Field of Honor event. Each flag was placed in memory of deceased who had served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Participants included Elks CNW District Members, Legion Post 2001, Firefighters, Highway Patrol, and Jeffco Sheriffs.
