Your Trial Our 3 consecutive Class Trial is designed to give your child the best experience possible. We are loud and busy and this can be overwhelming. Don’t worry if your child sticks close to you at first. They will be watching and working out their new environment. There is no pressure for children to take part in any activity. Hopefully by your third session your child will feel more comfortable in their surrounding and you will know if Music Bugs is something they will enjoy. We hope that you will want to join us for the rest of the term once your trial has finished. At your first class your Class Leader will provide details of the cost for the remaining weeks of term. To ensure your space is not offered to another family please ensure your fee for the remainder of the term is paid by cash or bank transfer at or before your last trial session. Music Bugs Classes At Music Bugs, our aim is not to teach music, but to allow and encourage young children to develop, grow and explore the world around them through music and song. Participation in music and singing classes is a great way for your child to socialise and develop in a creative and stimulating environment. In addition, research has shown that singing songs and rhymes on a regular basis helps to widen your child's vocabulary and listening skills which are an essential part of learning to read, write and communicate. During a typical 40 minute class, we will sing nursery rhymes, counting songs, knee bouncers, action songs and finger play rhymes. A wide range of props (pom poms, puppets, parachutes, scarves, bubbles, percussion instruments, hobby horses, and teddies) help to engage your child's attention and bring our sessions to life. Payment All classes are paid for in advance to ensure that your space is secure each week. At the end of each term we will give you a newsletter with payment details for the next term. Please ensure that you are selecting age appropriate instruments for young babies and that your child is using all props safely. We clean all instuments between class but if your little one has had a good chew (we know its impossible to stop little ones exploring with their mouths) please pass it to your class leader to ensure it is cleaned thoroughly before reentering the tub. Please ensure older children do not run in class, we know little ones love speed but running can be dangerous and not only do we want to avoid accidents we want your child to get as much out of Music Bugs as possible. We ask that children do not eat in class as it is a choking risk as well as very difficult to sing with a mouth full of food. We have several children with significant allergies and to ensure everyone can enjoy sessions we ask food is not brough into the room.

Illness We ask parents and carers to keep children at home to avoid spreading infection if they are running a temperature or have had sickness or diarrhoea in the last 48 hours. Please notify us of any serious, contagious infections that we can inform other parents. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund for classes missed due to illness, although it may be possible for you to attend another class later in the week if your child is better. Refund Policy If you have enrolled for a term and you wish to give up your space part way through, we can offer you a refund for the remaining weeks subject to a £20 administrative fee. Please notify us via email if you need to cancel your enrolment. All enrolments are refunded by cheque. We cannot organise refunds in class. Trial sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
