DESCRIPTION

You can take the bus to “Paknam” which is the main transportation hub for the area. Next to this bus and van center is the fresh market which also has many fish because Paknam is located near the river which has many fishermen.. If you are tired of shopping for food, you can take the ferry with me and cross the river where we can go to pay homage at the Phrasamutchedi Pagoda. Phrasamutchedi Pagoda is a large pargoda located along the river and every year there is a ceremony to change the brightly decorated cloth wrapped around the pagoda. The ceremony is very holy and they have a festival that includes a Ferris wheel, food, vendor stalls, games, etc. So, if we take a bus together from Phrasamutchedi Pagoda to Sakla District, I can show you see the leaning pagoda at Sakla Temple. After that, we can go to the historical museum at Phrachulajomklao Fort. There are many attractions there such as a Maeklong Warship, the secondary oldest war ship in the world from Japan and now it’s for more 100 years old, a 7 Suamob Cannon, the cannon from England and a Matchanu Submarine, the one of four submarine in Thailand from Japan. After touring the fort with me, we can relax at a beautiful park nearby where we can take a deep breath. Guide books say Suansrinakornkueankhun Park has the best air in Southeast Asia. I don’t really know for sure but it is beautifu. Wow! Here in the park we can ride a bicycle under the trees and take a deep breath. It’s perfect! Now, let’s go back across the river to Paknam again. If you take a bus to Bangpoo you will pass the largest Crocodile farm and zoo in the world! Although, I hear it is a great place, I have never been there. On the opposite side of the crocodile farm is the Ancient City. The Ancient city also has a boy scout camp which I have attended 2 times because my school’s boy scout troop went there. It’s a beautiful place and good for students or people who want to study about Thailand’s history. Now, the last place that I want to recommend to you is the Bangpoo Recreation Center which is a great place for people who want to eat fresh seafood and walk along the seaside to feed the seagulls. It’s a windy place but it’s cool!
