Our target should be to do the impossible,to stop the progressing climate change;

and let's go back to nature

Spirits that I've cited, my commands ignore.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe(28 August 1749 –†22 March 1832) was a German poet

Life is a journey, and health cannot be bought,-

the place of Blue Building is taking care of you,

to live with nature combined.

Last Thursday we had a long discussion in the Ministry of Energy in Dubai, including future energy supplies and also the problems of water and bacteria were argued. As an environmentalist, it was pleasing to have such a serious discussion, and to share the knowledge of the individual participants about these future problems.

Squaring the circle?

What will be the major issue in the future, water or bacteria?

Water shortage and desertification are some of the consequences of climate change.

Did you know:

Water consumption for one Hamburger: 2,400 liters. The main reason being the high water for the production of 150 grams of beef.

Water consumption for a cotton shirt: 2,700 liters

By the time a chicken is ready for slaughter: 3,900 liters of water per kilogram have supported its rearing. To produce one kilograms roasted coffee, 21,000 liters of water are needed, and….

70 percent of water consumed is in agriculture through irrigation. Another 20 percent is used in industry and only 10 percent is consumed by private households.

Bacteria EHEC in Germany

stSince May 1 , many new theories on the emergence of EHEC intestinal germ have become known in Germany. Different kind of vegetables and biogas plants where suspected by some scientists, as they can be the source of many unknown bacteria.

On a farm in Frankfurt, supposedly during washing, EHEC germs got on the lettuce. The factory has been closed yet; the spring water has beed used in this factory for 50 years.

Germs are spread by contact with animal feces, through contaminated food or from person to person.

An EHEC infection causes diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In particularly severe cases the infection leads to severe kidney failure and neurological damage which can even lead to death.

Today we know, an EHEC infected employee of a catering service in Germany has passed on the disease to the participants of a family celebration. 20 of the 65 guests became infected.

This means that since the outbreak of the epidemic in early May in Germany, 38 fatalities have been counted. According to Robert-Koch Institute, a total of 3,408 EHEC or HUS cases were transmitted. For about a week, the Number of ill people were at a significantly lower level than previously transmitted, said the institute.

The German researchers have done an excellent job; only the reporting system for the health authorities needs to be improved.

An epidemic was feared, but thank God, it failed to appear. But how are other countries prepared for such events? Did we come within a whisker of a disaster?

Not influenza viruses, but rather bacteria cost life of most of the victims of the "Spanish flu". That was reported by a German Doctors' magazine. A meticulous analysis of contemporary literature, death certificates and autopsy reports from several countries around the world concluded that bacterial pneumonia was the most common cause, which resulted in the deaths of patients. In the years 1918-1919 it is assumed up to 40 million deaths worldwide.

As a reminder:

Middle AgesFaeces and waste were simply dumped in

front of the house on the street. Pigs were used in order to eliminate organic waste in the streets, but also they contributed to the pollution, which caused many diseases, including plague and cholera.

Only when the importance of hygiene in epidemic plagues was perceived, the construction of waste disposal systems and watering sewerages

15th century

At the beginning of the 15th century, a controlled disposal of waste in cities of the size of Hamburg commenced. Prisoners were deployed, to take the waste as fertilizer to the fields. From the beginning of industrialization, the quantity of waste produced rapidly increased.

18th / 19th century

At the end of the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century; public health became increasingly important. To get such quantities of garbage under control, garbage dumps were built. The first waste incinerator plants were developed at the end of the 19th century in London.

There are huge quantities of bacteria in foodstuffs or at least, in the daily environment. Some are harmless, some are very dangerous; and until now, there is no statistic counting cases of human deaths by microorganism. Only by infection there are 15 million fatalities. (25 % of all cases of death worldwide)

Bird flu first appeared 1878 (The first toxic waste landfill was used just at this time) in Piemont and for a period of about 50 years was endemic to Northern Italy, so called lombardic chicken flu (Avian influenza).

Water or bacteria?

In my opinion, in the future bacteria will pose a much bigger problem; water can be controlled easier.

Hand over a healthy world

The Blue Building Concept was created over a period of more than 10 years, many companies and engineers have collaborated to lead the concept to success. With this all embracing concept we can today deal with many these problems; water purification, controlled air circulation systems, recycling of all organic waste and sewage sludge with the conversion to high-quality fertilizer. Many people have asked us to create a summary of the Blue Building Concept and my inventions, this is now available on our homepage.

In our next Newsletter, we will keep you informed about the latest News of the Blue Ecopower and about the series of test for the windows, first results have shown that even double glazing can reach extremely low U-values.

Squaring the circle?

Since today nobody could do it, but like the Blue Building System, do it easier:

Area of a circle . /. 8,86227 (..961645) you will get the length of the square a. Square circuit ./. by 8,86227 you will get the periphery of the circle.

To buy cheap is the yardstick of your health.
