Welcome to Dandy Acres Angus 18th Annual Bull Sale! We are pleased to offer the best of our 2015 bull calf crop for your consideration. As in past years, we offer to house your purchase until July 1st but they will be semen tested and ready to go on sale day.

New this year, we have added bred cows to our offering. In an effort to better manage our calving season to keep cows calving earlier and in a smaller window, our goal is to produce a more uniform bull crop for future sales. With that being said, the cows that are selling are not the culls - rather cows that are bred later than what is working in our breeding program today. Our loss is your gain.

Once again you can expect a video sale format auction with live display and inspection on April 9th. Sale updates and information can be found both on our website and our Facebook page as the event gets closer. Using a little technology to help support the sale is a change that makes sense. What hasn’t changed is the importance of selling quality cattle, the friendships we make along the way and the satisfaction of our customers. That is what has kept us in the business for over 50 years!

Females

As we work toward tightening up our calving season, we are offering this select group

of late bred females.

Selling 10-15 head of bred cows or cow/calf pairs.

• All bull breed to Dandy Acres Angus or Hereford bulls. Expected calving dates April 1 - May 31, 2016.

• Females range in age from 2008 to bred heifers.

• Both purebred and commercial cows will be offered, but all will sell as commercial. Registration papers available on select females for an additional $300. Pedigrees will be obtainable sale day on registered females.

• If not already with calf at side, Dandy Acres will calve out your purchase for $3/day feed and yardage, plus $100/live calf. We asked that pairs are picked up as soon as possible after calving.

• Females will sell in groups of 1-5 sorted by age, to be determined sale day.
