SHANNON EDEN (Marian Paroo) It all began here at the SCERA Shell for Shannon, when she saw a production of The Secret Garden, and leaned over to her mom and said “I want

to play Mary.” A few years later, she got her wish, and a theatre addict was born. She has notably performed as Nellie Forbush in South Pacific, Jane Porter in Tarzan, and Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady. She has spent the last few summers music directing for Payson Community Theater, but has missed being on the stage, and is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful cast! Shannon would like to thank her family for their endless support and love.

CHASE ELISON (Sound Designer / Audio Engineer) Chase has been involved in theatre since he was 11 in SCERA’s Oliver. At 15, he began working at the Lehi Arts Center, where he has run

and designed countless productions in both lighting and audio. Chase currently serves as SCERA’s Sound and Lighting Manager, and recently designed lighting for the world premiere of The Untold story of The Tortoise and the Hare, this past summer’s Peter Pan, Junie B. Jones: The Musical and most recently the world premiere of The Three Little Pigs. "Music Man holds a special place in my heart; it was the first show I did on this stage and my second show with my beloved grandfather, Jerry Elison. I am truly blessed to be where I am today, and am honored to carry on his legacy. Love and miss you grandpa, ya done good!"

CHARISSE FINCH (Maud Dunlop) Charisse has loved working with this cast, crew, and the directors. She was recently seen on stage in AFCT's Freaky Friday and in SCERA’s Joseph and

the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Charisse works as an elementary school counselor (go RME

Cougars!) and enjoys traveling with her family and doting on their two miniature schnauzers. Thanks to Brenner for pulling his mom into the musical theatre world with him a couple years ago and to Jon for supporting his wife’s dramatic antics. And a big thank you to everyone who has made theatre possible during this time.

TINA FONTANA (Mrs. Paroo) Tina is thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to bring Mrs. Paroo to life here at SCERA! She is also excited to be sharing the stage with her daughter, Megan, and

the other amazing cast and crew members. Tina works in the high-tech industry for Cisco Systems as a change manager and instructional designer; so performing in, designing for, and promoting the arts are a welcome creative outlet for her and a great use of her BA in Theatre from Brigham Young University. Tina currently serves as the head of the Pleasant Grove Arts Commission and is the Production Designer for the PG Players. Some of her favorite shows she's designed include The Curious Savage, You Can't Take It With You, Wait Until Dark, and Lucky Stiff (where she also had the opportunity to perform on stage with her husband). As always, she is thankful for her family and their encouragement, love, and support!

SHAWN M. HERRERA (Scenic Designer) Shawn is an accomplished director, choreographer, set designer and performer. Most of his work can be seen here at SCERA where he works as the Production and

Programs Manager and Director of SCERA Youth Theatre. Shawn has helped bring many great shows to the stage including Junie B. Jones The Musical, Peter Pan, Shrek, and Disney’s The Little Mermaid to name a few. Shawn is a frequent performer in SCERA’s Theatre for Young Audiences series as well. He enjoys his association with the Miss America Organization and loves being involved as a Master

He feels that art education and enjoyment is vital to a successful and peaceful community. “A huge thank you to Andrew, Paisley, Macyn, McCall, and Marley for making me laugh, helping me imagine and for loving me. I love you!”

AMY HIXSON (Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn) Amy is happy to be back on the SCERA stage with such an incredibly talented cast and production team. As a young girl, one of her first shows

was playing Gracie Shinn in The Music Man, so it has been delightful to revisit River City, Iowa – this time with her two sons, Cole and Cade. Recent productions include: Seussical, the Musical (Mrs. Mayor), The Sound of Music (Mother Abbess), Willy Wonka (Ms. Teavee), Les Miserables (Factory Girl), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (ensemble), Saturday's Warrior (ensemble) and Footloose (Lulu). Big love and thanks to her amazingly supportive husband, Dan, their children, and beautiful grandchildren.

CHRISTY NORTON (Props Designer) Christy grew up in Orem and remembers going to SCERA as a child. She taught dance for 20+ years and was the Youth Dance director at

SCERA for four years. Christy started designing props for SCERA in 2014. Her first production was The Cat in the Hat and since that time she has designed more than 30 productions, with some favorites being Mary Poppins, Shrek, Les Mis, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Seussical, James and the Giant Peach, Willy Wonka, and all of the Theatre for Young Audiences productions. Christy loves the unique creative challenge of designing props to help tell the story! Thanks to her husband Ben and four children for their love and support.

MARK OHRAN (Lighting Designer) Mark is from Provo, and he and his wife Marianne (also a lighting designer) have four children. He is the Technical Director for the Department of Dance

at BYU, and has toured the world with many of BYU's dance groups, including a tour of Europe with the International Folk Dance Ensemble. He has designed several shows at SCERA including Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Aida, Footloose, Shrek and Brigadoon.

TANNER PERKINS (Marcellus Washburn) Tanner is thrilled to be back at SCERA! He was last seen at the Shell performing as a Newsie, as well as the Prince in Beauty and the Beast. It is an absolute

pleasure to be able to work with such gifted and talented people. Tanner is amazed with all of the hard work and effort that has been put into these shows and hopes that you may recognize it as well. He would like to thank Michael, Chantelle, Allison, and Danielle for thinking of him. Please remember to enjoy yourself during tonight's performance and to always stay safe!

JUDE RAMSEY (Winthrop Paroo) Jude Peter Ramsey is very excited to be a part of this production at the theatre he was raised in. This is Jude's second show after playing The Elephant Bird with

COPA Youth Theatre. Jude loves Halloween, Roblox, and anyone who wants to be his friend. Thank you to the production team and this awesome cast for babysitting me. Special thanks to Auntie Danielle who I love so much and all my family. Jude is so excited to do the show with Aleyah and Grandpa Mike. Shoutout to Finn and Dad! Mom is my superhero. This one is dedicated to my brother Beckett. Different is perfect, so play your instrument loud. I’ll always be watching.
