Stephen the Radiant

Acts 6:1-15

All who were sitting in the Sanhedrin looked intently at Stephen, and they saw that his face was like the face of an angel.

Acts 6:15

…He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

Isaiah 53:2

If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

The Radiant Face of Moses...When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the Testimony in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord. When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, his face was radiant, and they were afraid to come near him.

Exodus 34:29-30

1. A radiant church is a revelatory church.

2. A radiant church is a place of real hope and expectation.

3. The radiant glory comes from radical grace.
