". That the Jews would not understand the !oly #criptures, but that they would be intelli$ible

in the last times, after %hrist had come.

&. That the Jews could understand nothin$ of the #criptures unless they first believed on

    %hrist.

'. That they would lose Jerusalem, and leave the land which they had received.

(. That they would also lose the Li$ht of the Lord.

). That the first circumcision of the flesh was made void, and a second circumcision of thespirit was promised instead.

*. That the former law, which was $iven by +oses, was about to cease.

    1. That a new law was to be $iven.

    11. That another dispensation and a new covenant was to be $iven.

    12. That the old baptism was to cease, and a new one was to be$in.

    13. That the old yoe was to be made void, and a new yoe was to be $iven.

1". That the old pastors were to cease, and new ones to be$in.

testament, and who was rather to be listened to.

1*. That two peoples were foretold, the elder and the youn$er that is, the ancient people of

the Jews, and the new one which should be of us.

    2. That the %hurch, which had previously been barren, should have more sons from amon$

the Gentiles than the syna$o$ue had had before.

    21. That the Gentiles should rather believe in %hrist.

should receive them, and that the new name of %hristians should be blessed in the earth.23. That rather the Gentiles than the Jews should attain to the in$dom of heaven.

2". That by this alone the Jews could obtain pardon of their sins, if they wash away the blood

of %hrist slain in !is baptism, and, passin$ over into the %hurch, should obey !is precepts.
