HOmega Test House came into being on 1st day of the new millennium as a chemical test house. Over the years its business increased manifolds under the guidance of a team of dedicated professors, chemists, scientists and engineers. The test house has grown into a multi disciplinary test house for fertilizers, micronutrients, food and pesticides, herbicides, weedicides, inorganic and organic chemicals, metals, liquid effluents, water used for different purposes like drinking, irrigation, construction, chemical processing, industrial cooling. It got accreditation by NABL for the above fields for chemical testing in the year 2002. Alongside the test house also caries out mechanical testing related to construction materials for highways, buildings and bridges. Pharmaceutical Testing and training programmes are being planned as new disciplines.
Omega test house provides hands-on, intensive, job focused training, you can bring home and apply immediately on the job. Our mission is to establish unprecedented nationwide education, training and applied research in biotechnology, microbiology, molecular biology, pharmaceutical chemistry and associated technologies. As industry trends change, we evaluate our curriculum and add new concepts to provide the most current information in laboratory and lecture sessions. Massive setup of educational institution in private and public sector is taking place due to globalization of Indian economy. However, some of these institutes are found lacking in giving adequate attention to laboratory work. With requests pouring in from different sectors, we have decided to fill up this gap by providing laboratory exposures to the students to make them more confident to face the challenges for employment in different segments of industry. During the training programs the participants will be interacting with experts in their fields and will get acquainted with practical aspects of various modern techniques along with the underlying principles. Experiments will be conducted in small groups under expert supervision where the individual participants will follow experimental protocol designed in different areas.
Training Facilities at Omega Test HouseOmega test house has facilities for carrying out research and training program in the areas of biotechnology, microbiology, molecular biology chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences. Major equipment and facilities such as high performance liquid chromatography, (HPLC - Waters), Gas chromatography (G.C.), P.C.R., Lab scale Fermenter, Uv-vis-Spectrophotometer, D.N.A. & protein Electrophoresis system, high speed refrigerated centrifuge, Light microscope with projection system, (F.T.I.R.S & A AS - under acquisition)

Microbiologocal analysis is done in different industries e.g. pharmaceutical, food, fermentation etc.. Besides this microbiological analysis of different clinical samples is an important tool in the diagnosis of diseases. Theoretical knowledge in microbiology is not sufficient to practise microbiology as microbiological techniques require specialized skills & training. This module is for those who are working or going to start their work in the field and want to expand their scope by earning proficiency in the techniques of practical microbiology.
